Skiathos Paradise

A few weeks ago I visited the island of Skiathos with a group of friends. I must admit that it is one of the most beautiful and picturesque islands I have ever seen. I loved strolling around the island, taking photos in the small roads and enjoying the sun and the sea.

The nature around the island was extremely beautiful. Many different colors, all bright and vibrant joined together to form an incredible summer atmosphere.

Of course the weather was extremely hot and I needed something light to walk around the island in the morning. For this outfit I chose a nice dress with a not so thick fabric in order to avoid heavy and hot clothes. My favorite sandals were again my choice, as they are for pretty much most of my outfits this summer. What was left is a small bag to carry the essentials and not bother my self with heavy and bulky handbags. This one also gives a nice pop of color to make the outfit look more like summer and fun.
Taking photos of interesting corners and random things on the island was my favorite. They all seem like art to me, which I love.
I hope you enjoyed one more summer post and got an idea of how much beauty and fun this island acquires. I wish you all have an incredible summer and visit beautiful places that will create unforgettable memories.

Flowers on top

This week's post is all about blooming flowers. The weather lately feels like summer and the combination of the different smells of it together with the flowers blooming all over the town is what inspired me to create this outfit. Bright and fun colors are always in fashion during summer but this time this trend is especially in. Flower prints are all over the magazines, wether it is on a top, dress, skirt or even shoes.

My art of the week is this collage of magazine pictures and drawings with water color. Inspired by the shirt I am wearing, I first drew the flowers and then took many different flower pictures from current magazines to create a collage. I really like creating collages because the idea of connecting different ideas and media is really interesting to me and I think it is the best way to create something fun out of random sketches and photos that inspire you.

I paired the colorful shirt with white jeans because I wanted the shirt to be the main focus of the
outfit. Moreover, white jeans are very trendy and beautiful for spring and summer because they are bright, light and a great way to change your bottoms from plain jeans to something more interesting.

This bag is my ultimate favorite. I love it especially because I bought it with my own money, that I was saving for months especially for this handbag. I love its design because it is elegant but also minimal. I love the beige color because it is a color that can be worn all year round and is very easy as you can wear it with everything. I must say that Michael Kors is my favorite brand currently because it is a brand for young women and has many elegant but youthful clothes and designs of handbags. Since it aims mostly at young women, their prices are significantly lower than other famous brands and you can easily buy something, of course if you save some money.

I hope you enjoyed this colorful and summer post! I encourage you to go bright and colorful this summer, wear flowers in different ways and don't be scared to wear colors, even as a small pop of color. Summer is all about color and fun prints. Also, I hope I inspired you to create a collage with your inspiring photos and sketches, even if it is a collage of random pictures you found on a magazine. That would actually be more interesting as you would create a mind game and try to connect everything together.

The blog is back! (Artistic element)

The blog is BACK! It is back with a new concept. I have decided to combine fashion with art, my two passions. Every post will include one drawing of mine inspired by the particular post. My first new post includes a spring outfit with a skirt that I literally love. It is a skirt with suede pouches and different shades of blue, reminding me of summer. The suede material has been really popular lately, so the combination of the material with the color makes the skirt a unique piece. To make it stand out, the top has to be a plain one. Thus, I paired the skirt with a black shirt that despite the fact that it is simple, its babydoll vibe or night-slip top with the black lace makes it a little bit more special. These type of tops are very trendy lately because they are both simple but yet girly and romantic.
The jewelry I used is only the earrings, which stand out as well due to my hairstyle, a relaxed up-do. They are unique because they have grey  diamonds, which makes them look vintage and old.

The shoes are lace up ballerinas, inspired by the jimmy choo style. They truly are a statement piece since lately they appear all over the fashion magazines and the Internet.

The purse is a small black one with gold hardware, a simple yet unique one again to let the skirt pop out. I love how this outfit turned out and I hope you like it as well. Also, I hope you like my idea of incorporating my drawings as well, since it is a great way to show you my art side as well. I will try to make each drawing unique and use different ideas and material. I hope this post inspired you to use a pop of color in your outfits, as well as starting to exploring an artistic side in you by making little sketches here and there of what really inspires you.

Two looks at the white wall.

Hi there! Yesterday I met with my best friend from Athens, who has also a fashion blog, and we decided to take some photos with two looks. One casual and one more dressy. Here and also on her blog you will see the photos that we came up with. I first put the more dressy look and as you scroll down you will also see the casual look. We decided to take the photos on a white wall as it was too dark outside and we actually liked the result because that way the outfits stand out more.  We had a lot of fun shooting for this post and we hope you enjoy our photos. Check out Elly's blog here ===> http://elly-fashionbitch.blogspot.gr/ (Super excited about my trip to Athens! I am travelling tomorrow and I am planning to post a lot of photos from there so stay tuned for that!)
* I hope you like the new appereance of my blog :)

Summer Red Lip

Unfortunatelly, I am back from my vacation... I had such an amazing and relaxing time there that I didn't want to leave... But, all good things come to an end.... I am thinking of posting a photo diary of the photos from Chalkidiki :) So I am back to my usual schedule, trying to post every week. This week's outfit was kind of plain and comfortable as I got used to dressing simply during vacation. The red lip though totally matches the outfit and summer generally so the pop of color in plain outfits, even through makeup does make the result more playful and happy! Also added another pop of color with the terqoise ring which I love! I hope you enjoy this week's outfit and photos and feel free to comment down below your opinion! :) Enjoy the rest of the summer...
